I have recently returned back to work and I am experiencing firsthand the challenges of being a working parent. It sure is a race against time and a constant juggling act which I am slowly learning to manage.
I have recently read about the value of creating a career circle at work with like-minded parents. A little bit like a parent’s group at work! Given we have all recently returned from parental leave, I wondered if there was an opportunity for us to connect and talk about how to make the juggle work.
I don’t foresee this being a formal commitment and wondered if a coffee once a month would suit? No agenda, no preparation, no pre-reading… just ourselves and an open, honest chat about how to manage motherhood and a career.
